The members of DFA Boston have endorsed in 2006:

DFA Boston is volunteering time, distributing literature, and canvassing for these candidates.

Endorsement Process

Candidates must receive at least 75% of the votes cast to receive the endorsement of DFA Boston. Members who have attended at least two DFA Boston events in the past twelve months are eligible to cast a vote.

Denise Provost was endorsed by a voice vote at the January meeting as her special election primary was within the week.

The eligible voters were polled via email if they wished to endorse Claire Naughton. All votes were in favor of endorsement, with one abstention.

The eligible voters were polled via email if they wished to endorse Deval Patrick, Tom Reilly, neither, or abstain. All votes were in favor of endorsing Deval Patrick, with no abstentions.

2005 Endorsements

In 2005, DFA Boston endorsed three candidates after sending out a comprehensive questionnaire to city candidates. Sam Yoon and Gibran Rivera were also endorsed by Democracy for America, and Sam Yoon won an at-large seat on the City Council. Rivera and Maura Hennigan did not win their races.
