Tuesday, November 8, ELECTION DAY – This is the biggy. If you can help out one day, then this is the day to do it. We need volunteers from 7AM until the polls close, at 8PM; the important shifts are 7-9AM and 5-8PM. After the polls close, we all go to the victory party! This is the last push for the solid, progressive alternative to the incumbent from District 6, which spans Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, and portions of Roslindale and Roxbury. Gibrán's is a grassroots campaign, which is in line with the principles of DFA. Our involvement in the campaign would help increase the number of progressive city councillors. We are very excited about our election day plan. There are a number of people who will be coordinating the election day activities.
